Fort Worth Food Park Approved

The Fort Worth Food Park variance was granted this morning by the Fort Worth Board of Adjustment.  According to the Fort Worth Food Park facebook page and  Food, Travel and Fort Worth the board voted 7-2 to approve, but there may be some additional requirements imposed, which is normal for this type of request.

The Food Park will be located at 2509 Wiesenberger - two blocks east of Carroll Street and behind the strip of shops adjacent to Target.  Hopefully, this venture will bring a new flavor of food trucks to town.

Congrats to Chris Kruger and thanks for your efforts to bring additional flavor to our restaurant scene.

Thanks so much FWHITW! Just a couple of minor corrections--a variance (as opposed to special exception) was approved and the vote was 7-2 (7 in favor). The approval was granted for a 2 year period.

All of those are just details though--the bottom line is that Fort Worth will have a great park-like space to sample a number of these awesome food trucks in the near future.

Thanks for all the support from FWHITW and all your followers.

I'll correct the number and language on the post. And I thought it was odd that you were seeking a special exception instead of a variance, but I didn't bother to check the langauge of the agenda for the specifics.

Thanks for the update and I'm looking forward to your opening.
