The long awaited Zio Carlo Magnolia Brew Pub is opening soon and serving food and beer. Just not beer from Carlo. He's working to get his brewing operations up and running, but there'll be an ever changing menu and a very dedicated owner. D Magazine wrote a story on the struggles of Carlo this week. Check it out and recognize that I'm giving them credit for this information and for the stolen pic to the right. I think I speak for all of us when I say we wish Carlo the best and intend to be regulars here. If you've got an update regarding the opening date please share.According to the sign at 7th Haven, Taco Heads will be serving breakfast starting August 6th. Since we only have 35 days of 100 degree temps left, you might want to enjoy your cooler mornings a little more with some delicious breakfast tacos. And for those of you AARP members (honorary junior member here) that can't stay up late enough to enjoy the Taco Heads breakfast tacos at midnight, they've heard your pleas.
Next Friday, August 12th, if you're free, head to SiNaCa Studios open studio night. They show off their glass blowing studio from 6-9 pm on the Second Friday of every month. The YES! Taco truck will be there serving food and the event is BYOB.
Also, this week, keep an eye out for my upcoming review of Temaki Sushi or The Cup. I'm not sure which one yet, but that will just keep you interested, right? Such a tease...

You didn't mention the time that Taco Heads will be open in the morning, but I just drove by it on my way to work today and it will be opening at 7AM. I just wanted all of your readers to know when they can get delicious tacos in the morning. Keep up the good reporting!
And I read today that they will have coffee. So you can get the full breakfast there. Now if 7th Haven will open at seven, we can really start the day off right.
