Updates

If you haven't been to Lili's recently (click here or here for previous reviews), go check out their new wine and piano bar.  Following the historic yet clean look of the original section of the restaurant, they have taken over and remodeled the old Panther City Bicycle space to make room for a bar.  There are a few additional tables but from my experiences, the fans of Lili's fill up whatever space is provided quickly.  So check them out and don't forget to post your feedback somewhere here.

Since its summer time and people are travelling, don't forget to check up on two priceless resources provided by the staff here at FortWorthHoleInTheWall.  First, the Texas Road Trip Review, which is sporadically continuously updated, can be your road map to good dining if you and the family take a trip across the state this summer.  Second, check out my Holiday Weekend Planner if you're looking for something to do when the family or friends are in town.

Blogger has set me up with a sweet reward for being such a loyal user....    Go to FortWorthHoleInTheWall on your smartphone, iphone, android, etc and the page is now viewable in a smartphone friendly manner.  Pretty sweet if you ask me.

I've also added a few new blogs to the right in recent weeks.   I believe Kevin's posse from FortWorthology set up VegFortWorth which provides vegan friendly restaurant reviews and recipes for all sorts of things you just thought needed cabrito.  Check out Fort Worth Beer if you like to read about and/or drink beer.  And don't forget to stop by Food, Travel and Fort Worth to find out about things going on in the city, restaurant reviews, and other things that generally interest people who stalk people online.

Time to update that weekend planner post. The Covey is closed.

You're right. And when I included that link I told myself, "FWHITW, go back and edit that." Then I saw something shiny.

The Road Trip Review needs to make a stop in Marble Falls at the Blue Bonnet Cafe. Any place that has pie happy hour is an A+ in my book--especially if the pies are as good as theirs are.

Scott, I've never been but I'll make a point of stopping next tiem I'm in the area. Thanks for the recommendation. There's also a good tex-mex place there called Janie's.
